Cubmaster Ken B. received the Cubmaster's Key at the first meeting of the 2015-2016 program year for his long and committed service to Pack 1932. He was presented the award by the Blue Phoenixes of Den 3; his son Brendan pinned on his award medal.
To earn the Cubmaster's Key, a Scout volunteer must: serve at least three years as a registered Cubmaster (or one year as a registered assistant Cubmaster and two years as a registered Cubmaster) within a five-year period;
Complete basic training for Cubmasters and This is Scouting;
Attend a Cub Scout Pow-wow, University of Scouting, or at least four Roundtables per year during each year as a registered Cubmaster;
Lead the Pack to achieve at least Silver level on the Journey to Excellence for at least two years;
Lead the Pack to earning the National Summertime Pack award at least once;
Conduct an annual Pack planning session and have a published Pack meeting/activity schedule for the Pack’s parents each year;
And participate in at least one additional supplemental or advanced training event at the council, area, region, or national level.
